Yeah....Iwo Jima: It was FIVE Marines, and ONE Navy corpsman.

Damn, I missed Prince Eugen, and 8802. Hell, I never heard of Admiral Hipper (except for WW1 of course) as a ship until this quiz. I guess I need to get busy then. lol

Missed a couple, but a minor bone to pick: i think Simo Hayha did most of his activity in the Winter War with USSR (1939-40) . Less in WW2 overall. I heard somewhere that me almost always used iron sights, as scopes would fog in the cold conditions. Which means he had to get in close, probably 300 yards or less, and had to have great eyesight. Also had to be a master of camouflage, concealment, stalking and hidden movement. Quite a man

Really good questions; more obscure that the usual. 13/15.

1:10. Those 505 confirmed are only his sniper kills. He had about 200 more in close combat with a sub-machine gun as a group leader.

Why didn't Donald Trump ever get named Time Magazine Man of the Year?

Missed one but a couple of them are pretty tricky. Good questions

Who was named Time "Man of the Year" the most times is not a WWII question. Just sayin...

One or two of these questions have very dubious connections with WWII. The Time Magazine one for a start.

Some of these were surely trivial, I think I got around 10 correct.

Question #10 has a typo in the question portion...it says, "110, 000-100, 000", instead of what I think you meant to type as, "110, 000-120, 000". It was different in the answer. Thanks! Other than that, great job! ~Susan
