If you look at each by category, it's very close on most everything, and for me really boils down to preference, instead of determining a clear winner. Personally, I just like the look of the Cadisen better between the two, and would get it; plus I just have way too many NH35 mvmts in my modest collection & would like to add a Miyota.

I have been a Pagani fan for a long time and have many of there models, they are an exceptional watch manufacturer and have set the standard to follow. However, I have two of the Cadisen DayDate models and am extremely impressed. Note the Cadisen I have have screw down crowns and a 100 meter rating looks like an on going improvement they have made. Both of mine are running within 8 sec accuracy over 24 hours, impressive ! My $4200 Swiss brand can't even come close. I believe the fit in finish is truly equal between both brands. I have the Pagani DateJust also and the reason I bought the Cadisen is for the different dial configuration over the Pagani and the presidents style bracelet which I think they hit spot on, but is does lack any micro adjust so I have to give that to Pagani. My evaluation, all due respect to you Perth, I think they are almost equal but I would give Pagani the win only by 4 points for the bracelets clasp and brand because they are clearly setting the standard to follow. Just get the Pagani. The quality is great period (not just "for the money") + Seiko movement + really nice bracelet. I got mine for $77 shipped (U.S.). Good channel!

I'm glad I found this cause I'm literally debating which one of these exact watches to buy right now, and strangely enough I think you convinced me to go the opposite way of your ratings. I actually like the day window (no, nobody "needs it" all spelled out, but I like how it looks), the romans vs. indeces are a wash for me, and I wouldn't take either into water so the crown/water resistance isn't important to me at all, nor do I care about the brand. The only point against the Cadisen that would have possibly mattered to me was the bracelet.... but even then, I've already got several jubilee braceleted watches (all of, I suspect, better quality) but I don't have a presidential bracelet yet.

I do wish the dial/sunburst comparrison was between two of the same color, as I think it's hard to properly judge a colored dial vs a black, but otherwise I think you convinced me that they're almost interchangible by any real, measurable standard, and convinced me I should just go for the one that will be most unique among my collection, which is the Cadisen.

I prefer the Cadisen all day, especially the green one, it is absolutely gorgeous, can't believe how good the quality is for the price and I really like the Roman numbers because its part of history and Cadisen did a really good job of making this watch, stunning

I have both, exactly the same, the Cadisen in black and the Pagani in blue. (With a magnifying glass) I scrutinized the two watches, I wore them long enough, and I don’t agree with you at all. 1: they have the same accuracy +11/12s per day, and the Cadisen has the day - 2: the finishes are better on the Cadisen which is better brushed and better polished, the problem with the Pagani watches (I also have a GMT) is that everything that is not visible is sloppy - 3: the dial of the Pagani is more grey than blue and the dial of the Cadisen not deep enough black and the sunburst is not visible enough (compared with a Glycine Combat Classic with a sunburst black dial) - 4: The bracelets? The Cadisen has soft links, the Pagani has sharp links, and of course the back of the bracelet of the PD is sloppy, as already said. Worse, the Pagani almost fell off my wrist several times because the screws keep unscrewing, and I received the watch with a twisted screw that I had a hard time removing to adjust the bracelet. Even the little pin in the PD buckle fell once ! To finish the clasp of the Pagani is hard to close and open, I prefer the butterfly bracelet of the Cadisen, although it cannot be well adjusted to the wrist. And apparently next to each other the Cadisen seems to be a Ferrari and the Pagani a truck!! Conclusion for me: the Cadisen is much better than the Pagani.

I just hate fluted bezels, regardless of who makes them. Can you be sure that Rolex didn't copy the designs of Cadisen and Pagani? Great head to head, as usual. I will shortly be doing a head to head with a Phoibos Nebula Vs a Relio Solstice. Hope you find the time to watch it.

I've the cadisen black and their new meteorite (gray) dial. The only drawbacks are on the magnifier, overall it pretty much bargain and pretty well build

Awesome review I couldn’t agree with you more on your entire review they are both really nice for the money though but I also prefer the dial on the Pagani and not so much the Roman numerals on the other and that bracelet looks like it’s really nice on the Pagani I don’t know how they can give you all that for such a great price Wow! I want one! Also hope you are keeping safe in Australia take care

Sometimes I wonder what the difference is between a real Rolex and a homage. I searched on youtube, but couldn't find it. (just 1 video Real Rolex vs invicta ) are there big difference? I have never seen both watches, very curious!

Both watches give you good value for your money. I think it is mostly up to your personal preference. I like the day/date movement of the Cadisen, but not the dial. If the real deal is no option, I think the Pagani is the better package.

Happy Father's Day, your comparison was jolting because I just bought the CADISEN to upgrade from a quartz LGXIGE Day Date on that note maybe I'm good but indeed I got you on the review, thank you sir.

Sadly they don't make 36mm on the Cadisen.

I've had a few issues with finishing quality on the 2 Pagani watches I've purchased. Some very sharp edges on the clasp and around the case which I had to resolve myself. I also purchased a couple of Addiesdive watches which are at similar price to Panagni, and their finishing was much much better. So I'm a bit apprehensive on purchasing another Pagani...
