It is very common with some medications and sometimes it is permanent. Also infections and as many medications especially in used in psychiatric illness cause dry mouth with this leading to decaying teeth, it really is important to assess for a physical cause first.

Umm Soo first time I will 100% disagree with a video by you. If you taste metal, it COULD be stress, but also can be from bloody gums, or even a side effect of medication such as Topiramate and any carbonated beverage. However, metal taste can also be a sign of diabetes, or serious liver or kidney failure. I just am worried that people won’t know the greater context of your videos to reduce people’s anxiety about an issue, but I would also recommended talking to their doctor. Besides this, love the videos.

This is very interesting. I was in a psychotic state for 3.5 months in relation to an intense manic episode. Could you do some videos discussing olfactory hallucinations related to this topic. I actually hallucinate in all five senses! How common is that?

Fun facts!!! I have a permanent retainer behind upper and lower teeth. I can’t tell if it’s those or something ❤

Mark Viner tells this story about a patient stalking him with a firearm at his office. Would it get demonetized? He said it happened 1 time. I probably just can't say the right thing on the issue

Ok so how do you reverse this or can it even be done? Ive had this issue ever since my heart surgery 3months ago & I'm losing weight when im trying to gain my weight back. This is frustrating & unhealthy because at times i dont want to eat & of course we need our nourishment & strength especially when recovering from a major surgery. Even water taste metallic!
