0:06 It's really different to see one of your OCs in a side-facing position for the first time in ages. I see you still draw your OCs with a short dog-like muzzle, unless it's just unique to this OC. I do remember some of your older animations showing Phoenix facing sideways with a dog-like muzzle.

Now, the bopping is somewhat typical, but the implementation of blacking out with colored outlines of Skyla gives it a lot more substance. I notice that Skyla smiles on the full-color portions of the video while the blacked out parts has him looking somewhat bummed out, sad, confused and flustered. (No eyelashes, but female name?) I imagine that this is presenting something along the lines of him feeling sad inside, assuming that the blacked out parts take place inside him somewhere. Honestly, I could come up with a million things about this.

I'd say you did a pretty great job on this one!
