Do not ever put baby powder in your shoes. They will smell worse. The best thing to use is baking soda and cornstarch mixed together. Cornstarch absorbs the moisture and baking soda absorbs the odor.

Instead of using spoon to fit ur foot in shoe, better u open the shoe laces so u can fit ur foot easily in it and again u can tie the laces as per ur tightness required.

The spoon trick works as advertised, but first make sure your shoes are untied lol. Cleaning laces? I have a front loading washing machine so I just chuck 'em in with the rest of the wash. If you have a top-loader, get yourself a smalls bag and chuck 'em in that. If the mesh is too wide and the laces tend to snake out, just tie the ends of the laces together.
