Today we take a full in depth review of the 2018 Volvo XC90 Inscription!
This is the 2018 Volvo XC90 Inscription! This particular model has the 2.0L 4 cylinder supercharged and turbocharged engine! Two other options are available, a turbocharged and turbo/supercharged with the hybrid option. This SUV has 3 models the T5, T6, and T8 with multiple options to choose from! The interior is prestigious with brown nappa leather with wood inlays. I love the driving experience of the SUV and the capability it has for storage space along with 7 full size people is very impressive! The storage behind the third row is very roomy and with 3 other trim levels including the Excellence, very competitive vehicle in it's class!

I just bought this similar 2018 Volvo AWD SUV and love it!! Pure luxury and comfort. Test drive one if you’re in the market for a new SUV. You won’t regret it!

At the 06:38 videomark, that's the auto braking hold button. The actual engine start-stop disable option is located within the infotainment system menu.

5:14 The driver instrument cluster is 12.3 inches in the Inscription trim and 8 inches in the Momentum trim. The Sensus Navigation (which is standard, not optional) is 9 inches, not 12.3".
10:11 The 360 Surround view is part of the Convenience package which does not include the heads up display. The HUD is an additional $900 option.

13:12 The Luxury package does not include the heated steering wheel. That is a separate $300 option and is not part of any available packages. The heated and cooled front seats, the heated rear seats, and the Nappa leateher are standard as part of the Inscription trim features.

It might be helpful to confirm the features and specs with the dealership before posting.

In addition to the other corrections stated by commenters, the wood trim mentioned at 3:34 is also incorrect - the inlays are not dark flame birch wood, it's Linear Walnut Wood.

2 things: 1. sun visor is NOT extendable. 2. Infotainment system takes FOREVER to boot up and you’re controlling your climate from there...that also includes your back up camera.

So you can't get the 400hp engine with to inscription package?

I want to buy one of these beauties. I don't have the budget for a new one, and I have thought very seriously about a semi-new one. Will it be recommended?

You don’t need to get the excellence trim to get to 400hp. Secondly good review but you totally missed the self driving capability of the suv

This particular Inscription model isn't even close to fully loaded with a $64K MSRP (no Bowers and Wilkins audio system, no cold or warm weather packages, no 360 degree camera system, no 4 corner adaptive suspension). A fully loaded T6 XC90 is still a much better alternative to a comparable Audi Q7 or any other competitor in this class. The standard technology and safety features vs the financial sodomizing Audi forces you to endure with their overpriced options that aren't even standard on the highest trim Q7 Prestige. My 2017 XC90 R-Design has 4 corner adaptive suspension, cold weather package with heated rear seats and windshield, Bowers and Wilkins audio system, carbon fiber interior trim, plus all the standard driver assistance technology and safety features. The MSRP was just under $68K. An identically equipped Q7 would require the Prestige trim level with an minimum MSRP of $80K. The Q7 definitely has better engine performance with its bigger motor but I don't think it's worth the extra $15K.

If a engine needs two separate induction systems to be better than a V8 then it's really not very good engine.
