I like how no one can actually defend what happened that day and instead there are a bunch of petty, immature, juvenile comments deflecting from the topic at hand and people engaging in the usual whataboutism. What happened on 1/6 is indefensible. The former president was “practically and morally responsible for the events of the day”.

As a former conservative, I feel that all of the people in the culture-war wing of the party need to face the consequences of their actions (and inactions) and get out of the way for conservatives who have an actual grounding in ideology for how the government should be run. Good riddance to the former President when this is all over and he gets convicted for what he did. Liz Cheney is a freaking hero.
