"That's the lady who I *saw'r* eating lunch"
That "r" in the middle is called "intrusive r"
Just in case you, English learners, are interested in this kind of phenomenon

Levington: You're awful Will...
Will: Oh yeah? Why am I awful, Levington?
Levington: Inviting me for your show... You just wanted to make fun of me... You're just like the rest of them.
Will: You don't know the first thing about me, pal.
Levington: Haha, how about another joke, Will?

I still have so many questions, what a about I thought that in sentences like: That is the lady (WHO) I saw eating lunch, the correct relative pronoun would be WHOM, not WHO.

It's NOT "less formal" in American English to use "that".

Why didn’t we say this is the lady whom I saw last night.. Why did you use who and the lady is an object not subject
