I have never listened this song before, but the first 6 seconds got me. It is so good, I like the angels and demons aesthetic. It is one of my faves, well done, Norway!

I feel like a big reason why the rest of Europe don't understand why we chose Tix is because they don't connect with him. Tix has been so open recently with the Norwegian audience about his struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts. The deeper meaning behind the song has been presented to the Norwegian audience, but it doesn't translate to the rest of the world. On the surface, the song seems like just another cliché song about heartbreak and unrequited love, but if you dive in deeper it actually also refers to the struggle with the darkness in himself and his inner demons - this probably also translates better in the Norwegian version of the song "Ut Av Mørket" (Out of the Darkness).

The outfit is a part of his image as an artist. The fur coat and headband isn't something new he put on just for Eurovision. He always wears that on stage. The sunglasses are also a part of him. He used to be bullied because of Tourette Syndrome in school, and he uses the sunglasses to hide his tics. Bullies would call him Tix, and he decided to take ownership of the name and made it his artist name. Tix is a character. Tix is bold and very "out there", while the "real" Andreas (which is his real name) is actually a very humble and caring person.

Though I agree the song isn't very "Eurovision" as it is a pretty generic pop song, and it may not qualify for the final. But the message he's spreading is far more important. I wish Europe would give him a chance. He may not be your favourite, but I just wish you all would see what we see in him ❤️

This song has seriously grown on me. He sings as well as any main stream artists does (if not better), has a very good stage performance and an excellent costume for the song. The song itself is simple and understandable which is makes it catchy, memorable and easy to get the message it's trying to convey. I'm definitely adding this to my play list. All the best TIX and Norway - you have my vote! Love from Australia.

It's super relatable. To not be with your love due to mental health issues. Feeling you're not good enough for them. So you want your inner demons to release you from the torture of being trapped being in love with someone that doesn't love you.

The song tells such a great story, and you just want TIX to find his true love, and escape his chains.

Then the melody is super catchy as well :)

I like how on the surface it's an ordinary love song but if you listen to the lyrics carefully you'll see a story when you are so lost and desperate and fallen that you feel that's it's better to let your close ones free, so they don't drown with you. I hope Tix wins!

I was looking for one of my favorite Bee Gees songs, Fallen Angel, and clicked on this by mistake. Now I can’t get it out of my head. So “poppy, ” which I love; strong beautiful voice; and music can help overcome so many things. Best of luck to Tix in his future endeavors!

This song clearly shows how people are struggling with their demons every single day but the only one who can free them is themselves.
Your friends, family members can help you but you have to go through the door. People are prone not to believe they are strong enough to make a step forward and get rid of their demons. And the funny part, only you see that the demons are there. I dont know when an ESC song made me cry after the first listening but this is the first one since I was watching the contest. I am amazed.

This is so nostalgic and brings me back to early 2010s when I was watching eurovision for the first times and only got access to the internet as a kid. God this is so nostalgic and touching.
