After Effects Tutorials - Create Camera shake effect - 74

In this video, I'll show you how to create a Camera Shake effect with After Effects. This is a simple but extremely useful effect to create impressive videos.

Main part starts here: 2:40
- activate 3D mode on text layer *AND background layer - not in the video*
- create a camera, create a null layer (rename it to control layer)
- Add effects>slider control to control layer.

3:16 add wiggle expression:
- open Position on control layer, alt+click on keyframe/stopwatch button
- insert expression - see video
_wiggle (20, effect("Slider Control")("Slider")_

3:44 link camera's motion to control layer
4:00 Add 2 keyframes 0 and 90 to slider
Adjust timing, done

Generally well explained in the tutorial, but way too blown up, don't need to see preparing whole scene, or meticulously closing and opening the layers. Would've been explained in less than 2 mins. But still thanks for the work.

to make it easy for everyone, here you have the expression to copy paste: wiggle(20, effect("Slider Control")("Slider"))

If you want to use it in a version of after effects with other language like spanish you have to adapt this expression like in this example: wiggle(20, effect("Control del deslizador")("Deslizador"))

wow...too long...you can just simply use a shake effeect with sony vegas or premiere lol. fail
