Maybe it's the new owners. Maybe it's just luck. Or maybe it's just the fact that we missed a real life, live X Games with a crowd, but I'll be damned if this wasn't one of, if not the, best X Games since I've been covering them. And that's been a long time, trust me. We're about to do an Unclicked podcast about the week and figured it'd be best to have a quick compilation of tricks from each event to run through and thennnnn, I just decided to make a "Best Of X Games 2023" video...well, except Megapark, because I had to shoot photos for some other obligations. That event is also just really hard to film with one camera...

The level of talent in the dirt competition was insane. Craziest contest I’ve ever seen, even crazier in person. Props to every BMX rider at this year’s X games I really believe BMX stole the show.

Crazy how the first jumps nowadays in comps they do the craziest tricks. I’m a 80’s baby and I remember the first couple were warm ups to the final huge jump to do your tricks. Watching old videos of comp tricks to today is massively insane. I can’t even comprehend it anymore lol

I'd say the best year of BMX hands down .. the Mirra Hoffman kagy Robinson wade days were good but man these boys have stepped the level up.

What i love about competition like this, is the vibe i get. Like some dude's that have gathered to show each other and their supporter's what they've got

As someone who does video + editing for a living big props for overall video quality. Super pleasing to watch. Love that the edit takes back seat to whats actually happening on screen and doesnt have any unecessary flourishes. Filming is ace too given the restrictions events like this have.

They were are all in "GOD MODE" at dirt best tricks 🤯 BMX is on another lvl right now. I thought those tricks were only possible in games.

The best xgames in the last 10 years it all started to went south when they move it to texas and gave the gold medal to chase hawk in ''park''. now we need a real skatepark like back in the day and we are good.
