I am amazed by a group of people so ignorant of America's history - that the founding fathers were fleeing governmnent enforced religion (Church of England) - so they could have a country where the government did not enforce a certain religion on everyone - where they could practice their own religion with no government interference. These people think religious freedom means forcing their religion on everyone else. They want religious freedom only for themselves and no one else. Then complain that schools aren't teaching history correctly. -- where were they educated?

Prayer is NOT forbidden in public schools! What is forbidden is FORCING kids to pray; what IS protected is the right to believe your conscious, and NO religion is to be enforced by the state. People need to know this country’s history…and that couple did not!

You should have told her a Christian Nationist isn't a Christian! Nationalism is an ideology based on the concept that a person's loyalty and devotion to the nation or the state takes precedence over any individual or group interest. For nationalists, the nation goes first.
