Wish you smart people would worry more about this country’s national debt than being worried about a private company investing its own money.

No merger at all. The stores are going to be destroyed. Albertson is a good store with competitive prices and good service. Smith has different products but is not good service. Florida has a merger and the stores are awful. The stores need to compete to have good prices and offer the best service. In the merger, customers will lose all the products from one store. Mergers are not good for customers at all. Monopolies are bad. Where are customers going to buy if customers don't like the stores anymore? We need a new store to provide customers with competitive prices and service. I shop at Albertsons, but if the store is going to merge and I don't find the products that I buy. I will not go to Albertson anymore. Costco, Sams club, and Walmart . Those stores are our next shopping trip. Sad that I will lose the stores.
