we’re allowed to question his substitutions. he clearly knows more than us and is in charge. and it’s also easy for us as fans to identify what we could and should’ve done. but trust the process. coyg ❤

It’s a business of balance. Arteta deserves credit but not enough for me to say he can do whatever he wants or fails to do anything to benefit the team during a football game. We are students of the game as well based on our experience of watching thousands of football matches coupled with our individual footballing knowledge. Therefore we know a thing or two about things not going right in a game. Arteta failed the team 2nd half with untimely changes and incorrect personnel. The credit he has allows us to then move on from the post-Mortem support him and the team for the next game.

He managed that second half poorly. He deserves all the credit and he should shoulder the blame.

You weren't saying this last season with Arteta's subs

I am questioning Arteta’s subs. We are the best team in the league. Also the tactics. Love the guy but got it wrong for me. Going for the counter attack and bringing off odegaard for kiwior is mind blowing! Why drop so deep?? Play the game we know we can and if we still would have drawn or lost I could take it. But not knowing is hard to take. I’m still soo annoyed at the way we approached the second half

That's the spirit! Complaining over subs in hindsight is ridicilous, if you do you are in fact talking to yourself.

I trust Arteta, I was surprised Jesus came off...he was still energetic, Trossard is great and thought it was a good change ..but he didn't barely get the ball...Turkish is right on this imo

As a Liverpool fan I have to say Arsenal are a strong team. I actually expected them to beat Liverpool.

Only the board trusted arteta, not aftv or arsenal fans...

I question why he didn’t bring Trossard on for Saka, also Tierney should of come on for Odegard and we should of moved Zinchenko in to midfield.

Absolutely Turkish.
If we made the 'subs we should have at the perfect minute' and went for the win and ended up drawing 3-3 or losing. The same critics will be bemoaning Arteta for not shutting up shop and throwing on an extra defender. Respect the manager, take the positives - because there are loads, and win the next game. We move.

Said the same thing too. I think Jorginho should've come in for Odergaard instead. And Tierney should've been in that game around the 60 min mark for zinchenko. But then again we don't know what's gone on behind the scene so we must trust the manager that's brought us this far..

he definitely should have brought on people earlier, we could have been dead and buried if not for luck on our side and Ramsdale heroics

How the tone has changed the most fickle fans in the world

I think all the changes were okay. Let's remember it's we are the only team in the current top 4 to leave anfield with a point. Only one of the last 5 champions have won at anfield

The only credit Arteta has at this moment in time is the 2020 FA Cup.
The Liverpool was almost the Man Utd game earlier in the season: ridiculous timing of substitutions. If those little decisions cost Arsenal the League, then he needs to go.

The whole skating around these issues that we've seen so much over his tenure is ridiculous: why are so many so scared to be so blunt and honest when we draw or lose when we should have won?

We had that game in the bag and those critiques cost us 2 points: even when Liverpool cranked it up in the second half, we still created opportunities: hell, should have scored in the 96th minute just like they did

According to this guy nobody is allowed an opinion now, the irony

No too much talking. Tierney should go in the summer.

We don't have to trust Arteta! Based on what you're saying, we must trust him, in that case we should be able to critique him if he doesn't deliver anything tangible. We should shut up and not question him, when we have trophies at the end of the season he's earned the lack of questioning him. It's ironic that AFTV are telling fans to trust Arteta etc when they make the most noise, complaints, demands and question Arteta when things go wrong. Your platform was built on complaining, questioning and knowing more than past and present managers! Arteta hasn't earned any credit in the Bank. The irony of AFTV 🤣🤣🤣🤣
