i wish in 2024 we got a blue beetle anime tv series, created by the same people from my adventures with superman, casting xolo maridueña and becky g as jaime and kaiji da again, and adding marsai martin, juliocesar chavez (a young actor), ariana greenblatt, carlos alazaraqui, nika futterman, and christie carlson romano.

It really seems like the movie has made it's own canon, I think that one was just better than the comic version. I found all the characters really charming and I hope that they incorporate the movie characters into the comic canon

Edit: Also, you know what I hate? Going to a movie that I really, honestly enjoy for the characters and then everyone on the internet is a fucking critic who's never satisfied of anything. It was a good, wholesome movie that was rather catering to Latinos, their internal references and culture, and in a very natural and organic way.
