Nirvana – 'If You Must' (30th anniversary fanmade video)

To mark 30 years since Nirvana's studio recording of "If You Must" on January 23, 1988, here is a fan-made video I put together for the song using footage of the band filmed on January 24, 1988 at a Radio Shack store in Aberdeen, Washington, USA in which they attempted to make a video for the song. Enjoy. No copyright infringement is intended!

Its his voice! He sings with such emotion. You can literally feel his emotions and sometimes pain. Have never found any other artist with such voice.

Oh nice, the big show at "Radio Shack" on Simpson Ave. in Aberdeen (or Scaberdeen, as we jokingly called it, lol). It was only like a block and a half away from my Grandmas' house. I was born in Aberdeen, but grew up in Montesano, where Kurt ended up living and going to school, after his folks divorced, except I was about ten years behind him. Even found a book (Dante's Inferno), that Kurt had checked out of the school library, (which I kept). The Melvin's even rented a house in my neighborhood just a few miles outside of Monte (as locals call it) and drove an old white Dodge van, which had a big "Kiss" mural on it with drawings of all four members, which I discovered (after reading the book about Nirvana, called "Come As You Are"), that Kurt had stolen the markers from Thriftway in Monte, to draw it for them and it was really well done. I even know the guy, who bought that van for cheap, which he thankfully parked where it was covered by a roof. Ok, blah blah, done.

Airborne Kurt! I don't dislike any of his work; even my least favorite has that Cobain authenticity that demands attention . His lyrics + raw guitar distortion + intensity = Eternal rock icon.

Love So passionate, Raw, and totally Vocals so raw almost seemed to be Kurts version of Primal So young here huh? So sweet and intense!!! He was a true sensitive soul and never wanted to confront this side of his life. He was a believer, yet never learned he did not have to go and be religious or get religion to just accept and be loved for just being him. He No one is perfect! If only Kurt truly realized this he would be here He was loved! He is in heaven today! Not for the things he did. But just because he believed. Religion keeps you in Bondage!
