Dude. I see myself in those old home videos. All those years fiddling with camcorders, bouncing tracks back and forth on my brothers' boomboxes, programming MIDI tracks for hours on end down in the basement, all of it. Creating and telling stories is such an integral part of who I am I built my entire life around it. As others have said, it's personal for you, but it's absolutely personal for me too.

Being in that middle phase of any project brings some amount of uncertainty therefore doubts, fear, anxiety etc. But as you said it, you have to embrace it otherwise you will break under the weight. That's why I started to take self-care more serious. Of course you have to put in the countless hours into your work but don't forget to counterbalance with treating yourself well.
