I'm doing a charity stream tomorrow at 2pm PDT here on the channel. I'll be gaming and giving stuff away, like peripherals from Corsair and my 7900 XT. Hope you can join!

Interestingly, that 7800X3D was manufactured in the 23rd week of 2023, so early June 2023. Therefore it was manufactured 10-11 month ago. I wonder who sits on the stock - AMD, or Micro Centre? Either way, that's gotta cost in storage over time if stock is regularly sitting for 11 months!

Micro Center 30 minutes away in Cincinnati. And I drive all over the city and often stop in on lunch hour when up there, which is why I have built 3 PC's and Upgraded my desktop 3 times. Comes with a cost. In the last year spent over 2K on GPU's MB's and CPU's, and the rest. Have now 6 GPU's 3 AMD, 3 Intel. Not counting the other 3 AMD had already.

I CANNOT wait to finally do this myself (albeit without an unlimited budget, but I'm still gonna ball out as much as I can) when a Micro Center FINALLY opens near me next month!! It's only gonna be a couple hours away, but the bad part is it's gonna be in a big city, lol. I'll tolerate it for this, though. I'm finally gonna build an updated/current rig and get back into PC gaming again!

Back when I was a kid I was so inlove with the idea of a PC matching all the brands that I could. But now that I'm old even though I have the money for it I can't see myself spending an extra 50-70% of the total cost just to buy matching stuff.

2nd time I built a PC back then I wanted to make an all ROG build which was almost $2500, but for the same performance with different brands I could get it for just $1, 200. I still follow that principle to this day.
