1.4x and 2x Mark II, just fit perfectly together with no tube ;)

You can stack canon extenders together with an extension tube.

Maybe I'm the one off my rocker here _(probably not)_ but why don't you just swap them placing the 1.4x on top, with the 2x on the bottom?

How about putting the 1.4x on top of the 2x ?? You didn't try that.

Hi nice video. In your own experience the canon 1.4x III is so sharper than the 1.4x II on the canon 100 400 II to justify to get the III versión?

If you put a Canon EF 12-II Extension tube between the 1.4 teleconverter and the 2.0 teleconverter they can be stacked, but you will lose your infinity focus.

I want to get a Canon 2x EF Extender II for my canon t5 camera with a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM Lens. Do you think that this will work since they both use a ef mount?

On Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L lens. Kenko DGX C-AF 1.4X Teleplus Pro 300 and Kenko DG C-AF 2x Teleplus Pro 300. Will give auto focus on Canon 70D.

I have a question I have a 90D camera I tried stacking the extenders 2x and 1.4x on a 100-400 II L lens using a 12mm canon spacer. When I tried to take a photo I get the error code 01 saying clean contacts the contacts are clean and all gear is in a new condition. I tried to take a photo on the eos R on same lens setup but nothing happens. I tried same set up on 7dII and it works what's your thoughts of what is going on? Regards Paul

the solution is easy .. add extension tube between them

Please try 1.4x + 12mm extension tube + 2.0x to see if you can stack them.

you mentioned in another video that you used a Kenko 1.5x teleconverter in conjunction with a Canon 2x, although you didn't show any results from just using the Kenko alone. Would you say there was a marked difference in the image quality between Canon and Kenko teleconverters? I've heard Tony Northrup say that he uses a Tamron SP teleconverter and finds no difference in image quality.
