2025 Toyota Camry XLE Driving Review | Best Hybrid Sedan?

In this video I cover my driving impressions of the 2025 Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid AWD. The Toyota Camry is refreshed for 2025 and includes a revised hybrid powertrain, design, and packaging but remains very true to the Camry of the past several years. The 5th generation Hybrid system is extremely refined and well rounded. The midsize sedan segment is somewhat competitive with stiff competition from the Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata, and Kia K5 but the Camry still offers features that are not available in those vehicles. A week ago I purchased an AWD XLE premium in Heavy Metal with Boulder interior.

It’s doing great on snowy roads. It has no trouble making it up my steep road.

Toyota knocked it out of the park with the new Camry. It steers and handles better than most other family sedans, plus the great mileage. It's going to keep it's top spot in sales for sure.

It is not just an Atkinson cycle engine though it is most of the time. Once you enter the power zone on though the valves immediately switch to non Atkinson....and the port injection switches to direct injection. Imediately the ICE engine sounds different (much nicer!) and drives different and it delivers more power. Combine this with suppoert from the electro engines and the engine has many operating modes. It is a gem ;).

So can you switch out of EV mode and run gas only? And if so whats your mileage and gas tank size When not on EV mode or hybrid?

The cloth trim makes it really look cheap!! Not to mention the piano black.

XLE has rain sensing wipers and memory seats which XSE doesn’t have😉

Check out new Camary 2025 in developing countries like Romania India with Rear seat recline power tilt steering wheel Tan real leather interiors.Toyota thinks north American market is outdated.Lols😂😂😂😂😂😂

Too big & bloated IMO. I would choose the 2025 civic sedan hybrid over this. Wish Mazda would release a Mazda3 sedan hybrid similar to what they recently did with the 2025 CX-50 (using Toyota hybrid drive/power-train).
