Tritter Finally Arrests House | House M.D.

After episodes of a game of cat and mouse, Tritter finally catches House and arrests him.

From "Fools For Love" (Season 3 Episode 5): A young interracial couple (Jurnee Smollett, Raviv Ullman) suffer acute abdominal pain shortly after he saves her from being raped during a holdup attempt at a diner. Then she goes into a coma. Meanwhile, House disapproves of the attention Wilson is showing a newly hired nurse. And Cuddy demands that House apologize to a clinic patient (David Morse) he treated disrespectfully.

It takes a brilliant actor to make sure that everyone hates the character they played. Also, even though many hated the character Tritter, most of the things he said about house came true.

The tritter arc was actually a thriller arc to be honest... Everyone was being tested for being house's friend...

We always see House take his vicodin from a pill bottle. Always. Yet here he's got them jangling around in his pocket like loose change. Wtf?

The thing I hated most about Tritter was that he wanted to hear that his problem downstairs wasn't his fault then kicked the cane out from under a cripple when they refused to give him the satisfaction. Then calls that person a bully all the while trying to bully them into submission.

It's a sign of a great actor that you can make people truly hate the person you're playing. Whenever I see this actor somewhere else, I always think "Oh no, it's Tritter".

Guys, Vicodin pins the eyes. It doesn't dilate them. Had Tritter written that in his notes of the arrest, House would have had the case tossed without Cuddy's perjury.

Few points to consider here:
-House has to legally examine and take proper Hx from the patient but he is not entitled to order unnecessary tests just because the patient wants them.
-Tritter could have simply refused whatever procedure including the temperature measurement.
-house could have sued him for tripping him.
-no need to apologize to him at all as he simply did a procedure that tritter did not refuse.

I love how House doesn't need to use physical strength to beat his adversaries, his wit is always enough.

Tritter was one of the House’s most formidable opponents

That was an illegal search and seizure. Any competent judge would throw this out immediately. Further, it was retaliation, making the arrest illicit and putting the entire city in jeopardy of a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

Tritter must have been projecting when he called House a bully. Bullies revel in power. Tritter couldn't handle House not respecting the power Tritter has (as a cop), and so he responded with a power trip. House isn't a bully, since he doesn't revel in power, but in a need to be the smartest person in the room, self amusement and an autistic level of honesty and/or authenticity.

The juxtaposition becomes more clear when we realise that Tritter is an authoritarian jerk (agent of control) and House is a libertarian jerk (agent of chaos).

"You got a prescription?" Like on his person? Normally, when people have a prescription, they trade it in for the drugs they've been prescribed and then they don't have one anymore. And I would assume that the records at the prescribing pharmacy would show that there was a valid prescription at the time. So I honestly don't see how any of this makes sense. Also, while what House did could constitute assault, tripping a cripple seems like assault too

A villain in a different profession who was equally shrewd and cunning. If House had a Moriarty, it was this guy.

This arc ended with one of my favorite House moments, when Wilson realized that the orderly had been slipping House Vicodin and nothing had changed.
