Not mad at all. Stick the dx19 suit in the armory and now you can fully display both armory and suit and updated suit as Batman. Win, win

Suit is easy to purchase, done before, same old.

Full seamless look with the iconic knee brace showcasing his difficulties in the film is far more important. That alone would be the only reason I purchase it.
Hats off for doing something different and superior.

COllectors have to stop counting on their figures to increase in value. In fact, the more popular the character the more likely you will see a revised version. Only 'safe' figures are probably the low count releases of marginal characters. Yondu, Jyn Erso, Kuiil, Krennic, Hela etc.

I did a bit of digging… It turns out that, if you compare the suits, DX19 is based on the suit from The Dark Knight. MMS702 (this armory set) is based on The Dark Knight Rises.

You can tell by the cuffs on the gloves, they were visible on the TDK Version but tucked under the gauntlets in the TDKR Version.

Guess who got his dx19 a week and a half ago...😤. Lol, in all seriousness I'm a little bummed. I agree on a lot of points you made. I don't really care for the transparent armory, prefer the other version. The Bruce Wayne with brace excited me but then I saw its basically a statue. The headsculpt could use some work. Looks like he is wearing eyeliner or something idk. The improvements on the suit are very cool though!! Great video as always

What really sucks for collectors is the fact that they didn't give a fck about the begins figure.

I don't blame them for giving us a Bruce Wayne with shorts and his T-shirt cuz really that's how he was in the film with this team and they already have one with him and his suit and an Armory from The Dark Knight but I would definitely agree that has scope need some improvements hopefully they will do that but it is a very beautiful piece to own I'm a little bit conflicted whether to get this or just be fine with the Batman deluxe figure I plan to pre-order

I was waiting on another Bale to drop (Inart or HT) since I felt the DX19 sculpt and suit didn't look as good as I thought it could have. This armory set looks incredible! Sculpt is 100% Bale on certain angles for me, and I do agree he looks aged up slightly. Plus I do like the fully seamless power posed body with brace. Leg brace is a grail😂

My DX 12 was my last Dark Knight.
I think this set looks great for an upgrade for me to go along perfectly with my InArt Joker.

Regardless of the Bruce Wayne figure, acceptable for me. This is a massive DX19 upgrade ( i believe)

The likeness isn’t bad, it’s just the expression on his mouth that is. I get it though, collector’s want different expressions than the standard fare. Hot Toys tries something new, and then people complain. I do wish we were getting Bale in the grey suit that was prototyped in the previous photos.

I’m just getting the gloves and the neckpiece. Maybe the head. Outside of that, the DX19 is slightly more accurate in most other regards. I spent quite a bit of time looking up shots from the film and set photos and I gotta say, the only real “improvements”—that aren’t a step backwards—are the ones I mentioned.

I am annoyed by how much better the suit is than my DX19, but I don't like the power pose Bruce Wayne figure at all. I also am not really interested in the armory display anyway as I prefer the TDK armory.That said I do actually like this headsculpt quite a bit. It definitely looks accurate to how he looked in TDKR.

i just got a dx19 for 200 bucks and i lov it, the other new armory that is not acrylic is way better, this one looks like a chap toy with all the acrylic stuff, the other one with the metal door looks way premium

Now that I have Batman, the Batpod, the Tumbler and having pre-ordered Bane and Catwoman, this will complete in a spectacular way my Dark Knight collection. Or maybe not, I still need the Joker and Alfred.

I think the head sculpt is accurate to TDKR…..even though the DX19 head sculpt looks “better, ” it’s more akin to a younger Batman Begins look. And it was laziness on HT’s part, because they said fuck it, and used the same headsculpt for both the re-issue BB and the DX19z The DX19 hair is completely off. Bale looks a lot older in TDKR vs Batman Begins, and this is far more accurate. I like it.

other companies would race to release a poseable seamless body because of this bruce wayne with leg brace - and whats worse probably by end of the year Inart would reveal their take on this character and again i have to resell mine if i get a unit
