This song is amazing, like a lucid dream of floating above the clouds, looking at the inevitable gleaming rays of the sun, to suddenly land on a forgotten island in the sky. This island containing marvels of different varieties of trees, the beach glowing with it's never ending waves, to then accepting that everything is beautiful just the way it is. A great feeling of comfort and contentment.

This is my favorite song, honestly I was in a really bad spot in my life and I started listening to Washed Out and it was like meditation. It was there for me to listen to when I was losing people and things were going wrong. I love that so many people love this song and Washed Out. I wonder if he knows how beautiful his music is and how many people it helps everyday.

I love how trippy and layered this track is then you realize that he has snuck in what sounds like a steel guitar which just raises the stakes as far as I'm concerned. The steel has been much maligned and abused over the years yet in the right hands it's magic.
