I just broke my first Dewalt Impact Ready Phillips No. 2 bit yesterday while building a lumber storage rack. It sucks having to get down from a ladder and go find another bit. They seemed to last a long time but maybe it was because I was using them as carefully as possible. I'll have to pick up these Makita bits next time I go to HD. I really only use the Philips No.2 bits. Good video guys.

I've been using those for a couple of months. They last a long time I'm a Dewalt guy but these kill the Dewalts and yes the gold wears off. Great video guys!!!!

I really like the handy little set that the bits are in. I've used it on numerous jobs and it's so

I use a Wera tritorsion bit holder, with magnetic ring, plugged into a Dewalt QZ adaptor so I can drive screws with a 1/2" impact wrench. It's a bit of a wobbly set up but it has more torque than a regular impact driver. I saw some Shröder bits online, made in Germany... looks interesting...

I have a set of dewalt impact sockets that I like. They come in a case like their power tools and they come with a couple of adapters for an impact driver

I have tons of impact driver bit holders. Milwaukee, dewalt and wera, ryobi, and makita. And for me the best one is my Makita impact gold torsion magnetic insert bit holder model number B-35106. Nice and compact so I can see the screw and easy to get the bits out of the holder because it's magnetic and doesn't have a O ring like the Milwaukee shockwave.

You guys need to have a tool fight with all of the impact screwdriver bits that you have please

I have the shockwave and the gold. I use the gold more often but the shockwaves are good also.

Milwaukee also makes a 12 inch milwaukee Shockwave bit holder model 48-32-4512 that also is truly straight and doesn't wobble

Sounds good. That would be a good one to cover.

Been using makita gold for a few years now. great bits, they'll strip any screw before failing on you

Great video! I'm always looking for better bits. I've had good luck with the shockwave but have just about gone through my first set. Agreed with the Dewalt bits I've never had luck with them, I'll have to pick this set up now.

Harbor freight has its place (in my opinion sorry Eric) but I agree not the bits they break and strip to easy. Great Vid

I will say if anyone is looking for a 6 inch impact driver bit holder buy the Milwaukee Shockwave model 48-32-4511. I bought several others brands and within minutes of use I through them in the trash because they had to much wobble in the bit holder. Milwaukee is the only 6 inch that I've found that is truly straight.

My shockaves are terrable. I stripped the torx bit with 20 or less screws on my Makita brushless impact. The coating on the shockwaves wear off on the first one or two screws. I am going to get the Makitas

Makita has 3 inch and 6 inch gold bits that have a Philips head on both ends of the bit and can still be used in a impact driver.

I just bought some of the makita bits to replace my philips #2 shockwave bits which I twisted with very few uses. The makita's magnets are way stronger. I'd like tools in action to do a freud blade review such as the ever popular 71/4 diablo blades.

I picked a couple of shockwave for some 4 inch #10 / #2 head, and they didn't last nearly as long as the dewalts did, but I'll try again with normal size screws...
