You say that the venue is shorter than the Kona but when I’ve seen them both in person I think because of the flat roof on the venue seems longer

I'd pick the Kia Soul over the Venue just on styling. The Venue tries to look "aspirational" and doesn't quite make it, especially as a base model, while the Soul does its' own thing and looks much more appealing. The only major drawback is that Kia limits the base manual model to silver or (extra cost) pearl white or black, if you want an actual color you have to spend (even) more and settle for a CVT, while Hyundai offers every version of the Venue except the top "Denim" launch edition in all their colors.

Buy it only in a manual transmission and put some extras on it to make it a fun run-around-town-car, because that's all it is.

This another vehicle like why no horse no room like the Nissan kicks and CHR I like those but no horse s no awd that's why I got the kia seltos s turbo instead I'm enjoying it I wanted a sub but not super tiny sub 🤣and I needed my horses and awd I got it for 24 instead of 28 I talked them down and only $300 down I made the rite choice 👍

I wish it had a height adjustable seat belts, even my base Nissan Versa has that feature. I need a car my 6'2" 15 y.o would comfortably fit. He doesn't fit in my Versa which is really roomy for size.
