There is a grab handle in the front left. Its called a steering wheel.

I'm 62, the seats are fine. The car is fun to drive. It's nice to look at. It's very easy to park. Just remember, it's an Accent. Don't expect a rocket ship...and stop finger banging the dash and door panels. It's an economy car. At 55 mph it gets over 40 mpg.

The Pontiac aztek sure made an impact many years later.

The missing grab handle on the drivers side is intentional. One less thing for dumb people to do while driving.
One hand on the cell phone, one hand one the grab handle and the leg does the steering... 😂

I really like the design of this new Venue. It's stylish, but not obnoxious. It's small, but practical. I think some of the critics failing to mention that this is a replacement for the Accent hatchback is a bit of an oversight, especially in their criticism. It's an entry level subcompact, folks. I think it's overpriced though. $24k for top trim of a subcompact hatch/CUV seems like crazy money to me. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I think this shouldn't be more than $20k loaded.

This is a bit of a stretch, but when I first saw the tail lights on the Venue, my brain immediately thought of the tail lights on the 1988 Nissan Pulsar. I guess because of the diagonal lines and fairly square shape.

We bought one a few months ago and absolutely love it! It’s awesome to drive in both city and highway driving. Excellent low gas consumption. And the apple play is great. Great price for an amazing car, oh won’t regret it!

I just bought a Denim trim Venue. Very happy with my decision. It reminds me of the original Honda Civic sedan.

I'm near enough 50 and I like it. Not a SUV guy, especially small ones. This I like and don't know why.

The “hole” for the grab handle is for left front seat grab handle for right hand drive markets. Drivers don’t need grab handle. We hold on to steering wheel regardless of situation.

Oooh, I get it now. This is the Hyundai version of the Kia Soul. You will realize it once you notice the headlight positioning is the same in the Korean cousins. Nice trickery.

Very nice Denim, boxy style makes it ideal to carry stuff and lots of room for all passengers . Great job

This is a cool little car, wish it had nicer seats, awd and a bit more umph, but I like it. Maybe they’ll refine it sooner than later.

He didn't mention the base model comes with a 6 speed manual. #savethemanuals

Now imagine learning to drive on vehicles built from the mid70s to mid80s which make this Venue look like a sports car in straightline acceleration.

Have not driven it but was able to give one a good look over at a local car show. I have to say I was smitten by the design and the attention to detail in both the exterior and interior. I think Hyundai did a great job making a "cheap" car that doesn't look nor feel cheap. I know people like to compare this to the Honda HR-V but really this is a Fit competitor. I think the Venue will be very successful and compel Honda to bring the newly re-designed Fit to America. They make the New Fit with an "suv" style look (roof rails and body cladding). This would compete perfectly with the Venue.

the boxy design look cool.... looks way cooler than the new 2020 wish they would give that cool Boxy design to sedans as well.

I have a 2018 Kona and this is essentially a smaller version of that without the AWD option. There are actually several interesting features on this car that I wish the Kona had and I can see them coming to the Kona on its refresh. If I lived in a warmer climate this might be a decent and cheap alternative to other hatches. And there is a market for boxy car as the Kia Soul has proven.

Unused grab handle cutout on the drivers side is probably to accommodate right and left hand drive models so they don’t have to make two different headliners for each market.

Not AWD, under powered, no trunk space and overpriced. Pass

I've no problem in snow with FWD, I turn off the traction control and go where I want to, just like I did before cars had traction control.
