I had pain and do have pain, and dysphagia and dysphonia . Plus you did not mention that it involves the Hip Flexors and shoulder girdle . the neck muscles is not rare either . Maybe you should have a patient do these, because we know better ! The weakness in my case was extremely rapid . Not slowly over months . And you forgot the rashes and extremely sensitive skin as if it is from a sunburn, and intense itching, (like you see from a dog who has skin issues where the dog just keeps scratching themselves . ) And hair loss is common. skin ulcers, weak hands and ankles, pain in the muscles is just like the pain one experiences after a vigorous workout at the gym . Only we did not workout . Our muscles do feel this kind of pain from doing nothing

The hair loss is awful. Thanks for this video! There isn’t as much out there about DM because it’s so rare. I was diagnosed 11/2023 thanks to my persistence because of the overall muscle pain and weakness.
