I have one of these. Theyre great. OTF's are illegal here but this is such a cool tool kept at home and dirt cheap. Got mine on Ali with blades much cheaper

They are great for edc. Truth be told, we are just using knives mostly on paper and packaging. Scalpel are just sharper than utility blades. We don’t need them for surgery. The blades can be sold at art stores

It’s a nice little OTF. A scalpel blade might also come in handy if you run into an animal on the highway and you discover it’s pregnant and you need to perform an emergency C-section to save the baby. Of course that’s a situation we would all hope to avoid, but you never know!

Can you install the blade facing the other way? That would be better for leftys as the switch is on one side

I love the otf utility knives. I just wish they could make one with a full size handle. I’m sure adding a lanyard would help on that scalpel though.

I just looked up my state. Michigan. I thought Autos were illegal here. Apparently, in 2017 they repealed the 1958 law. As long as the blade is 3" or less. They can be carried. I gotta go shopping now.

$30 is pretty reasonable. Even if Autos aren't legal in your state, Autos with blades under 2" usually are legal. Even California has the 2" exemption.
