I was 13 when this song came out. It and the original song was mortal kombat movie soundtrack were my intro to electronic music.
At 15 I went to my first rave in New Orleans in Halloween, 1997. I went to raves all over the gulf coast from 97 to 2002.
Higher state of Consciousness opened me up to a whole new world.
I'm 40 now, I don't listen to music much anymore, and love all genres, but I still get on my DJ decks and crank up any electronic music just for the love of loud jamming.
