I think Jodi questions her own sexuality and hates herself, hates men and hates free spirited kids. The family unit is also something she loves to break up with her control. She’s sick and enjoys using her degrees and what she has learned about people to hurt them instead of helping them. Ruby was one foot in with her huge ego and already abusing her kids so it wasn’t too huge a leap with Jodi. Just my opinions. Thanks for another great video. I agree Jodi is probably the mastermind behind this but I think Ruby is just as evil and sick. Watching how excited she got from instilling fear and discomfort in her own children before Jodi was ever apart of their lives was shocking. Seeing a mothers face light up at her child’s emotional pain isn’t normal or natural. I think they are both evil.

The irony of Jodi being so life-threateningly ill that her lawyer requested an expedited bond hearing after she said that you “couldn’t get sick” if you were “living in Truth” is not lost on me in the slightest.

It's interesting to hear her speak about not being able to make anyone else do anything but she duct taped and tortured children to make them do what she wanted them to do or not do. She is a real piece of work. She is talking about staying in truth and she lies about her entire existence.

My heart absolutely breaks for Jessi Hildebrandt. I'm glad she's awakened to the horrible abuse she suffered, which the church actively condoned. Jessi has shed a much needed light on the situation, and I think she's so brave for doing so. If anyone is actually "living in truth", it's Jessi Hildebrandt. ❤

Watching Jodi give her speech is infuriating me. I struggle horribly with depression and anxiety. In my toughest moments, when my son was battling cancer, I could see getting sucked into what she's saying. I'm not even religious. But I have been desperate to heal from huge trauma. That is TERRIFYING!! She is putting on this act that she is there to help people just like me. Very vulnerable people. People in a great amount of pain. This is the most manipulative thing I've ever seen, and I am absolutely disgusted....

Ruby absolutely demonstrated inclinations towards physical child abuse well before jodi. When Russell was a baby he had a broken leg and wasn't taken to hospital for days. The kids were starved. Slept on the floor.

I never thought about the fact that Jodi put Adam in a group for offenders (he said one was a exibitionist and voyeur, and the other was a child offender) knowing that he was a victim of sexual abuse as a child! The atrocious nature of that situation is abhorrent and inconceivable for a supposed mental health professional to do! That poor man had went through enough trauma up to that point, and for him to be further traumatized and victimized by the person who was supposed to help him and his wife with their marriage and personal affairs? She should be prosecuted for her egregiously unethical methods of psychological treatment

As a masters student in clinical mental health counseling....Jodi's speech touches on a number of actual psychological principles that we use in therapy. The danger is that she takes it further and twists it to her own advantage by saying mental illness is a choice. The scientific research on mental illness is clear that it is not a choice, and often a diagnosis is the result of a chemical difference in your brain (ie. adhd)

edit: hi everyone, thanks for pointing out the issues with my comment. I reflected on what was said and realize I was misinformed on some things.
the research is NOT clear on the causes of mental illnesses - we know about various genetic and environmental influences that are correlated with certain diagnoses.
re: ADHD, that research that I was thinking of at the time is now outdated - there is no evidence that ADHD is the RESULT or CAUSED by a chemical difference in the brain.
I still strongly disagree with the idea that any mental illness is a choice, and the notion that neurodivergent brains are wired differently (although this may be considered anecdotal evidence because this belief is informed by conversations with neurodivergent people not in a research setting). This thread reminded me to be more careful when sharing information and presenting it as factual, so thank you!!

Hi Annie! I just saw new docs have been released—Kevin Franke tried to have Shari charged w/ burglary!

Summary: Police executed a search warrant on the Franke home. The two middle daughters were staying with Shari (the oldest, the 20 year old daughter), so Shari went with the social worker to the home to collect clothes and items for the 2 children staying with her.

Kevin found out they’d been there and was furious—he told police he wanted to press charges against Shari for burglary. The police said he couldn’t—she’d gone there with the social worker and under police presence to collect needed items for the kids in her custody. He then threatened to sue the police station.

He hadn’t seen his kids or the house in over a year but wanted to Sue the kids for getting their clothes. Unreal! He is just as controlling as Ruby imo.
