I always have trouble finding this version. In this one, it has less of an echo to the vocals, and after King sings “why did they take you away?” he follows it with “oh Melissa”, whereas in the other version it just goes to the solo with no vocals. Does anyone know why there are two different versions? Is this a remaster or something?

Holy shit. This is the first time I've heard the remaster of this song and man, it is terrible. Any amount of "organic" sound this album has is stripped away completely. No wonder King wanted to make sure the reissues were from the original master.
