This may sound kinda weird, but Beast is my favorite X-Man (tied with Rogue). It's mainly because of this Star Trek crossover comic my friend had and let me borrow and read. They pulled this stupid 1-time gag where Beast was talking to Bones in the medbay and a nurse walked yelling "Dr. McCoy!" and they both look. It was super lame but it made me laugh lol.

I'm gonna grab this guy and see if I can find a classic Dr. McCoy from Star Trek figure and just have them hang out on my shelf.

I’m sure X-Men 97 will yield two more waves. There’s loads they can do. I’m certain along with Morph there will be a Beast. I think it will get the pinless treatment and have a smiling head. They did a smiling head option with the grey retro release they did. It had a George Perez kind of look. I think the smiling head they will include will be more like this animated series. I agree he should have come with two flat hands and fists. I am not sure why they didn’t sculpt some simple slots in his hair sculpt by the ears to allow the glasses to peg in. It is a new sculpt. I want a head with pupils in the eyes too. I’m sure Mafex is kicking around a Beast figure for 2025. It will include everything this figure has and much more. It will cost a bunch but it’s what they have left for Jim Lee X-Men besides Jubilee and Rogue.

Imo theres no way hasbro dont at least do another wave to fill out the roster, theyd be crazy not to when they are selling so well, not to mention surely they wouldnt leave the team half finished lol, we still need morph, jubilee and a proper cartoon beast. This figure is good but no way am I paying the price of a figuarts for a marvel legends on the aftermarket lol
