On Mac you can full-screen both and use the 4-fingers gesture to switch between them (between the screens) - much more comfortable

This works fine for me in Live 9, but when I attempt to extend my displays in Live 10, the screens become unresponsive. I can use the space bar to start/stop a track, but nothing on the screen visually moves/reacts.

it is such a garbage it is always open clip editing in the main window, we set our own default view mode come on ableton WTF

It's a fucking joke. You cannot customize it. Second screen FORCES you to either use arrangement view or clip view on each window. Why? It should be customizable. For huge livesets it can be even useful to see another region of the clipview. Besides, it could be useful to see many track devices at once (e.g. if you have several loopers on different tracks!!! A problem since the beginning of the looper-plugin, which was ages ago) Why -the fuck- do you have to make such awesome things impossible?
