This isn’t a good idea and isn’t going to help performance. There is a reason guides like this stopped showing up about 5 years ago. On a system with a HDD this can help reduce the drive IO after a reboot, but with an SSD it doesn’t matter at all. The mount of RAM and CPU saved by doing this is so negligible that not only will you never notice it, but you probably can’t even show an improvement using benchmarking tools.
