So "great" to hear that I am not the only one suffering from hair breakage after bleaching.. I actually went from platinum blonde to my natural haircolor (Dark brown) I cried at the hairsalon but could defineltely notice less breakage. I can totally see where you are coming from at the beginning of the video as I've been watching you since 2008 and seen the whole process of everything you have done with your hair over the years- I too have the exact same outlook on my own hair which is continuously changing despite the plea's of my loved ones and friends to leave it alone and I feel like my mood is greatly affected by my hair but I cannot help but be impulsive so I have always been super interested in what your insight is with your changes in colour and the process you have gone with it.

I loved your blonde hair but totally understand your reasons for extensions. I had filler extensions to the front of my hair a few yrs back (bad feathered section) and my hair looked amazing. So I went full hog & had a full head (my hair is super fine and heAvily highlighted). I loved the end result but had them cut short twice. First as drying time was forever and then the second cut as I started to get headaches so they were just below my shoulders. They were the bonded ones so needed extra care & maintenance but when they were removed my hair was gorgeous. No sign of damage. Go for it!!! Can't wait to see update

I totally back you up on getting extensions. I had them done when I went through a weird grow-in phase between ear-length and shoulder length where I had straightened my hair out of a super curly bob. The salon gave me a huge discount for my personal review and it was perfect. I went super long with mine and it was wonderful... after about 3 months the knots began to dread and I took them out. I'd definitely do it again, though. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your new do!

I cannot wait to see your new hair on Wednesday! Have you tried any Olaplex treatments? My hairdresser used it in the the bleach and it feels healthier than before! And I had a full head of bleach. I also bought the number 3 treatment by Olaplex to use at home and its literally amazing - worth checking out. Thanks for a great video xxx

I was probably one of those who said grow it out. Sorry if I upset you, that wasn't my intention. I was exactly the same as you; I used to bleach it platinum and dye it bright colors WAY before it was trendy (fudge blueberry hill was my fav). I had the same frustration too; my damage always happened in the salon and they never ever took responsibility for it. That why I complete grew mine out in the end (again sorry if I upset you). I have been tempted to dye it again recently and I've found a channel on YouTube which I think is really good - Ellebangs. Have a look at her videos. She shows how to blend out bleached hair so it looks like a salon balayage. She's also honest with what can and can't be done. And she seems to do a lot of fixing of other salons' mistakes. I know dyed hair comes with a price (and not just the bill in the salon). But I do think there are products and techniques which can help minimize the damage. I have really damaged frizzy hair from over washing it and it's curly/wavy, something I tried recently is putting either coconut oil/avocado oil in my hair overnight and washing it the next day to try and give it some moisture, so far it seems to be working quite well. I use loads of oil, it doesn't smell nice but it seems like a natural way to treat your hair

I don't make videos but I am very much like you in that I cannot leave my hair alone for very long, and people (I work in a shop and even the customers comment) take great joy in telling me that I'll go bald or I should stop doing things to it and it really gets on my nerves!

I have done exactly the same as you I went blonde over and over again and had quite bad damage to my hair like you short bits etc.. and then I had extensions too ha ha.... I find it interesting what products and colour you go! As I have had every colour and style going.. . Variety is the spice of life after all :-) x

My son went through a phase of pulling my hair, and when I get stressed I twist it round my finger and tear my knots out. One side of my hair came to level with my jaw with the rest was just reaching my shoulders. I had it cut into a ridiculously short bob - I hate it - but it means it's all pretty much the same length now. It looks so limp and flat I'm considering extensions to give it a bit of oomph! I hope they work out for you!

I don't see why there should be any negativity it's your hair to do as you wish. I've caused havoc on my hair for years & people always have something to say even if they don't understand where the need to make a change comes from. I once bleached my hair after many years of dying it black & lost half the length of my hair. This didn't stop that want to do it though, I really want to try the Pureology range out it sounds fab. I'd have been so mad at the hair salon for taking no responsibility for what they had potentially done.

Loving this series, I totally get the thing about frequently changing your colour and style, I'm the same!! I went through growing out damage a few years ago, and now I'm growing out a pixie cut...so feeling your pain!! I have been thinking about extensions when I've grown it enough, so am super excited to see the extensions vlog and follow your progress!!! x
