For a testimony of the restored gospel to be complete, it must include a testimony of Joseph Smith's divine mission. The truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints rests on the truthfulness of the First Vision and the other revelations the Lord gave to the Prophet Joseph. President John Taylor, the third President of the Church, wrote, "Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it".

We were singing this song in church a few weeks ago.  My sons of 7 and 9 yrs old usually don't sing the hymns much.  for some reason they were singing this one.  I was singing with them and felt the Spirit, the Holy Ghost.  It was awesome.  a happy proud dad moment!

My wife Danica visited by missionaries for 1 year. She really doesnt believe in the Church.. She even debated to the missionaries. 1 day she prayed because of all the problems and she wanted to change. She started reading the Book of Mormon. She said that she felt as if the book is talking to her. She believed in the Book and to the prophet Joseph Smith . We should never give up even the people always criticize us. As the saying goes, those who love to quarrel are those not seeking guidance to the Lord and to the Holy Spirit. Thanks to Joseph Smith for restoring the gospel.

Since that I have learned and gain a deep and personal testimony in the divinity of works of the Prophet Joseph Jun, It never came to my mind and hearth the word illusions which is oftentimes used by all anti Mormon movements.. With how Alienated people have attempted to make our dear Prophet, I can't help but realize there is a work that will move forward and the forces of the Adversary can not stop it. As I attend Mission Prep and prepare to serve the Lord, I reflect on that final message, that "Millions will know brother Joseph again." Something about that message sticks with me. Despite every attempt the adversary has made, nothing can stop the good work of the lord from moving forward, and I testify that I know in the day of salvation Millions truly will know of the good work that has been pressed forward because of this man and his sacrifice in bringing forward the Plan of Salvation through the Restoration of the Gospel.

Everytime i listen to this song i feel the spirit so strongly. I got the opportunity to go see the carthage jail, where jospehs journey began, going to heaven. I felt the most peace and comfort ive ever felt. I *know* that Joseph smith was a *real true* prophet. Im beyond grateful for what he and the saints did to get our church where it is today. Im so grateful for this great gospel. I cannot deny the feelings i felt while visiting such a sacred place.

He walked up and greeted death.He could not have thought that he would live, having even received revelation otherwise. Shot back or not, this man is a martyr in every respectable sense of the term. I can't believe that he didn't want to live for his wife and children(living and deceased) and I would not blame him if he did shoot back. God Bless the Prophet

I've always had a fascination about Brother Joseph since I was little and learned about him in seminary and church. If there was one prophet I could meet, it'd be him.

Out of all of the Lord's anointed prophets who have lived on the earth, none of them has done more than the Prophet Joseph Smith. No man that ever lived on this earth has done more than Joseph Smith, with the exception of Jesus Christ himself.

Joseph was a true Prophet of God. He put the saints lives above his own going to Carthage. I love him and Emma for their service in bringing forth the the Book of Mormon, the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and it's ordinances sealing families together for all eternity. Praise be to God

I was just listening to MoTab and came across this. This hymn will always have a special place in my heart. I have a powerful testimony of the prophet, Joseph Smith. I felt the spirit really strongly while watching this. Joseph Smith is definitely my hero and I hope to meet him in the other side of the veil someday. ❤
