Understand that sometimes luck is involved in owning a car, I have a Q50 and it’s been brilliant, you really can’t go wrong w this car, great speed, comfortable seats great sound system awd and a great price

2015s are an extremely good deal - last year of the reliable VQ powertrain and they've depreciated so aggressively in the last year, resulting in great bang for buck.

I had a new 2014 Infiniti Q50AWD. Just got rid of it and miss it already. Put 110, 000 miles on it and did not have a SINGLE problem with it. New tires and brake job and that was it. Yes infotainment system took like 40 seconds to load up...but always worked. Fast as hell. Amazing seats. A great great vehicle.

My husband just bought a 2015 q50 with 100k miles on it. I figured we put another 50-100 in it then retire it. So happy to see this video!

2014 with 90k miles, and ZERO issues. The VQ37 in the Q50 is completely bulletproof. Do not listen to people who have older G37 that had galley gasket issues or newer Q50 owners that have VR30 with serpetine belt issues.

On my third Infiniti,   had a M56X (now Q70), Q50 redsport and currently a Q60 redsport.   Loved them all,   so far no reliability issues with any of them.   I went for the 400HP twin turbo because it is just so much fun and after a 420hp v8 that was in my Q70 the 3.7v6 seemed slow and lifeless so had to go turbo.

I own 2003 G35, 2007 G35x and 2011 G37x and all 3 have exceeded 500, 000 km (312, 500 miles ) without any drivetrain issues and are still going strong. Plus a new 2006 G35 with 21, 000 km that I haven't even put plates on yet! Highly recommended these things. Great in winter with snow tires. 2003 had to replace stereo console which has heater controls in it, and the compression rods (control arms) and that's it. I do fluids/filters and brakes myself so you couldn't find a simpler set up. (Once you install a transmission dipstick!!!)

I had 2004 G35x as a 2nd owner for 9 years. G35x was most reliable car ever owned with no issues! Then I traded in for 2011 G37x as a 2nd owner for 6 years. Surprisingly the G37x Wasn’t as reliable than my previous G35x! I had my eye on used Q50 red sport for years. No matter what I researched and test drove my mind was made up for Infiniti Q50! 2021 I was ready to buy another Infiniti but I researched Kia Stinger and test drive. I ended up buy a new Kia Stinger vs a used Q50!

This is a great deal in the used market, however, a complete waste of money to buy new, it’s essentially the same car.

I have a 2010 G37X with 266, 000 miles on it. Replaced 1 oxygen sensor and the normal brakes rotors etc. Absolutely love it. Looking for Q50 with 3.7 can't believe how hard to find one without 3.0T.

Recently purchased a 2015 Q50S V6h and have to say it's an absolute blast to drive!

Previously owned a 2015 Mercedes E Class 350 v6d estate/wagon and it's way better in nigh on every department...

Easily as well built, same amount of kit, minus electric boot/trunk lift and driver/front passenger headrest adjustment, neither a deal breaker... But on the plus side it's got the adaptive/intelligent front headlights which the Mercedes didn't have, so win win.

Economy is on a par, if not better, even though it's a petrol/gas motor... Obviously performance is way superior and easily on par with an E43, C43 AMG, BMW 340/440, Audi S4 etc.

Handling is right on the money even on the run flats, which I'll swap out for some Michelin Cup tyres come spring time... They should really up the ante in the handling stakes and be quieter than the run flats.

Not forgetting the glorious sound it gives out when pressing the go pedal to the floor 😁

Make sure to get these checked out.... owned my 2014 Q50 for four months and I have taken it to the dealer 3 times. Power steering rack replaced was $3500, power steering pump was $1200, battery needed to be replaced because of a check engine light $400. Now today I got an AWD overheating warning. A lot of issues for have for a 58, 000km vehicle and 4 months.

I just got a 15 Q70L which is the Q50’s bigger somewhat more refined brother. Although a different fleet some of the technology and design ques are fairly common to both platforms. I agree with trying to find a good well maintained 3.7 NON turbo V6. I am not saying the 3.0TT is bad just kind of new to get fairly long term reliability data.

For better or worse keeping the 7A standard and consistent across pretty much the entire Infiniti line means that for the most part it works great and didn’t try to get too crazy with something entirely new and risk problems.

The Q50 is fairly common and you should be able to find a decently equipped and well maintained but you may have to look a bit and possibly expand your search criteria.

The Q70L I got believe it or not I wasn’t specifically looking for the Long wheelbase model or AWD but call it a happy accident/bonus.

JD Power is ironically not reliable. However my brother in law is a mechanic and says he does not come across many Q50s or Q60s in his shop. QX models however he said have issues.

This better than a 2014-2015 Lexus GS350 F sport ? I was mainly looking at that but damn, Infiniti has me a bit interested considering the price. Lexus retains its value better than most car brands. If I could get the GS for $12k-$15k I’d jump on that!
