Kia Syros Boot Space!

The Kia Syros has finally been unveiled in India after a series of teasers. With its boxy SUV design, it slots between the Kia Sonet and the Kia Seltos in the brand's SUV lineup.

Kia has also equipped the Syros with some more premium features that are not being offered with existing Kia SUVs or from models in the sub-4 metre segment. However, it still borrows the turbo-petrol and diesel powertrain options from the Sonet.

Couple of points to note:
1. That 465L boot space is available only when measured from the boot to the roof of the car, and that too when the rear seats are pushed all the way forward, like this guy did, not up to the parcel tray. Otherwise, that boot space is just a bit more than that of a wagonR(360-odd litres against 341L of the WagonR)
2. Sliding rear seats are a novel feature, but once he slid that rear seat forward, did you see that there's ZERO legroom left?
Thing is, you'll generally want to use all of your boot space when you are travelling with family/friends, meaning there will probably be people occupying the rear seat, and you won't be able to slide it forward then. Of course, there are exceptions to this, but I'm talking generally.
