This video seems to be an ad for metromile. IPO's require more due diligence, thus are easier to expose problems. SPACS have less requirements and can be released quickly, but at the cost of trust/legitimacy.

Fun to watch the Biz Doc. As to his explanation regarding nosedive after IPO, I have made a ton of money buying on the dip after a much hyped offering. Think Facebook. Or more recently Lemonade. Other reasons than fundamentals can drive down price: selling from big institutions lucky enough to get shares at the initial offering price, or insiders who want some cash to spend after years of financial sacrifice building a company.

This is the next evolution for auto insurance, the success of pay per mile or data based premium is greatly dependent on data. As insurance is quantified by historical data, without this I doubt the insurers will be able to maintain a profitable position.. that said Tesla can be profitable since they data driven on their vehicles. Question for you, do you think Tesla will separate the insurance division from an investor perspective??

Business Idea: Non Google, non GPS vehicle map guide. Download regional/national map/s. Utilize AI and text recognition and vehicle cameras to identify the road/ street you are on.
On a side note, countries (politicians) are trading national resources, infrastructure and assets to the companies selling vaccines (why would a company want fiat currency?). There is no 'free lunch'. ...'We will own nothing and be happy about it'.. Mortgage paid off by the govt?- asset stripping, who owns the title of deeds?
