How to add games to GeForce Experience on Windows 10

This is NOT the answer you are looking for... since it only works for games that are "Supported" but didnt load. To make Shadowplay/Experience work with other games, open the "Nvidia Control Panel" (right click your desktop) the go the the "Manage 3D Settings" and add the game (you will need to know the Filepath). After updates, you might need to Remove/Add again, but this is where you actually do it "Manually"

Scanning is an automated process, the program is still deciding what is or is not a game and what to add or not. There is nothing manual about this. You can not manually add apps or executables to this program, it's really stupid.

The green checkmark doesn't say that it is supported - the green checkmark shows up when u optimized them game with geforce experience - how about u first understand what this tool is about before uploading yt vids

Is there a reason it fails to find games sometimes i reinstalled 7 days to die recently and for some reason it hasn't found it despite being able to the first time I downloaded it then there's shadow of the tomb raider that is 100% in the nvidia promoted list of featured rtx games no luck there. Destiny 2 went missing off it for it for 2 or 3 weeks only to randomly pop back up. The service seems kinda unreliable.

and how do you add folders with games exactly? like if it gives you just error that it can't add that folder what then?

Any chance to add games from RCPS3? I can obviously add the emulator and start the games from there, but I want to skip this passage and add directly the game (this is because I'm using Moonlight in my smart tv). TY.

I find it fascinating how even as you show this tutorial, the same 5 games I have are the ONLY ones you have connected with GeForce. This shit software couldn't detect a crackhead behind a fucking Arby's. How the hell is it supposed to "detect" a game when it can't even register a game?
