This is very true. I've noticed that all of my friends lack patience and faith in the process. Now I'm the only 30+ guy in my social circle whose never had a "real" job. Why? Because I was willing to work on my business for a few months without any reward, and to suffer doubt, negativity and ridicule from family members. Few have the mental fortitude to go through this initiatory phase and make it to the other side.

This makes me think of the whole Oasis phenomenon where people tend to see the Gallagher brothers as cartoonish figures that became huge icons out of nowhere. When you actually look at their journey you’ll see that Noel was quite the mastermind and went on tour as a roadie with other bands and had all the songs for the first albums written long before they were recorded. Everything was way more planned than their public personas would have you believe. And it wasn’t till his late 20s that he actually got signed.

As a long time subscriber of this channel and Oasis fan, I kid you not I could probably make a 1stman-style video titled “Noel Gallagher’s Male Advantage” journey 😂
