Iridescent Medium - Review

We tested the Iridescent Medium by Winsor & Newton!
Mixed with watercolor and applied over a dried wash.
We prefer to mix with watercolor to have a more natural look and flow.
Winsor & Newton description:
This medium gives pearlescent or glitter effects to water colours and is particularly effective when mixed with transparent colours especially over dark backgrounds.
- Mix with transparent water colour or apply over a dried wash.
- Shake well before use.

Hi,
I was looking to buy some of this medium, however I'm not overly impressed with it. It looks extremely fake, and appears to sit atop of the paint, I expected it to blend in, and in doing so, make the paint irradesent like the irradesent paint sets you can buy. Thanks for showing us this medium. You've saved me both time and money.

I'm sorry to say there was no audio with your vid, but I watched the review through to the end and appreciate the presentation as it was just what I was looking for regarding iridescent medium.

Gosh this made me cringe. I've ordered the product, it's actually on the way because I've seen videos where they used the tiniest amount either mixed in or just on top and the result is lovely. At this rate the bottle would be gone very quickly.
