It's important to say that vsphere does not support different vmkernels with different services in the same subnet. In a production environment, you must configure vmkernels in a different subnet. For instance, management vmkernel subnet x.x.x.x and vmotion vmkernel subnet x.x.x.y

pretty cool who ever thinks of this tech and puts it into software wonder who actually thinks of all these ideas, i used hyper-v before and citrix but vmware i will always stay with far more better and packed with features. hyper-v and citrix seem old compared to vmware
