Join Jordan Peterson in this illuminating video as he navigates the intricate landscape of confidence, using Andrew Tate as a case study.

Peterson delves into the multifaceted nature of Tate's appeal, dissecting the blend of genuine bravery and questionable behavior that characterizes his persona. Through insightful analysis, he reveals how Tate's ostensible confidence resonates with individuals grappling with feelings of inadequacy and immaturity.

Drawing upon his clinical experience, Peterson explores the transformative power of facing rejection and embracing criticism as catalysts for personal growth. He unpacks the notion that venturing into darkness, metaphorically, can lead to newfound strength and resilience.

As the discussion unfolds, Peterson provides a nuanced perspective on navigating adversaries and utilizing criticism constructively to uncover hidden aspects of oneself.

One thing similar between JP and AT is that both of them are against the matrix.

Tate is attractive because he represents everything insecure and stuck guys think is desirable. He appears to get the women, he worked hard and is wealthy, he's fit and tough, he is successful in every sense that people think success matters. And it does matter to a degree, life would be a lot easier in Tates shoes

Thank you Jordan and Chris for the video. I wonder about my male high school students more than the girls students. I hope they can navigate successfully to adulthood.

Anyone who watches true crime will tell you the Tate's are classic criminal sociopaths.

Grandiose narcissism . That is the quest for external validation+ abuse of others. By creating a fake « Avatar/mask», that is the « fake personality», will never lead to mental health. That is this hunger for attention and power will never lead to a « autentic self». The reason is that the drive/craveing is in reality a copeing mechanism created by a trauma. These types most often end in a meltdown ( Dan Bilzarian, before him).

Many argument that « beeing a fake somebody is better than beeing a real nobody». But there is no way to fool the trauma/pain long term. Sex, money, attention, power can never substitute for real health long term . Most of the modern influencers meltdown at some point because the pressure from hideing the behind the mask, becomes to strong. The only real lasting way forward is healing the trauma/painfull memories from the past.

How an individual deals with harsh or vicious criticism from an enemy depends on HOW the self, others and the world is internally viewed.

I’ve never heard of this Tate guy. But I’m certain if I had financial resources, sufficient to be sustainably and progressively self sufficient, my personal confidence would increase exponentially. All of us who depend on continuous employment for material support are weakened substantially by that single, un-ignorable paradigm.
