Toyota better deliver a home run with the new Tacoma, but based on the current Tundra and Sequoia, it's doubtful. The mid-sized truck market is much more competitive.

I can't believe that 24 years after GM first offered Auto 4WD that neither Toyota or Nissan offers it on any pickup they build. For that reason alone I would never buy a truck from either manufacturer. I've been using Auto 4WD all winter on three different GM trucks for over 22 years now and it's a must-have feature for anyone who drives in winter snow and ice conditions.

I wish the canyon was so expensive. I was thinking the at4 for me, but wish there were more grab handles and wish the rear seats folded right down creating a usable table in the rear with floor storage

I can't wait to see how this compares to the Taco, based on the leaks, I am liking the looks of the Tacoma compared to the Canyon and Colorado, I do think the Colorado looks better than the Canyon, can't fault the interior tho, it looks really really good

Alex, Is there really a canyon between this GMC and all the other mid-size trucks? 😉😂

I do love these new mid sized GM trucks upgrades however, after seeing the 24 Tacoma, yeah they still rule in this segment.

Apart from the Mitsubishi-looking front end, this is really good. Can't wait to see how the new Tacoma and Ranger compete with this one.

The running boards look so out of place. They hang too low and I don't like how you can see the bars that hold it together. The hard touch dashboard and old school taillights I could totally live it. The running boards would get removed right after I bought it.

GMC could be so cool - they could convincingly make a $100k American range rover competitor if they wanted to (not a badge engineered thing... GM can be great when they want to be: the corvette, escalade, etc)... this truck feels a little half baked like most GMC products unfortunately. I like the size though. The previous generation Canyon Denali was handsome and understated - styling on this new one isnt bad either other than the non-LED tail lights. Largest automotive badge ever made? Not counting decals style tailgate logos - for an actual molded logo, this could be a record??!

Love the interior and the size. I’m pretty tall and don’t think I’ll fit inside with that sunroof. I will forever be comfortably driving a full size truck

I understand the short-term benefits of turbocharged engines... Available power, lighter weight, and better fuel efficiency... However, I'm still haunted by the demons of my youth in the 80s and 90s, where I experienced the repercussions of the higher pressures and heat that the turbo brings to the engine.

The internet being the internet, I'm sure someone will pipe up with some examples of their turbo vehicle lasting for 500, 000 miles but have my doubts that modern technology has solved the effects of basic physics.

Happy to listen to your experiences but I'm still going to lean towards naturally aspirated or electrically boosted.

Off-road the Frontier PRO4X will leave that Denali stuck in the dust.

I just can’t understand why they wouldn’t have put soft touch materials on the tops of the doors. Hard plastic on the elbow is most definitely not premium.

The rear lights look straight out the 90s super basic? Kinda shocked not all led and no sex appeal to them. Just not modern matching the rest of the truck.

Why don't 4WD trucks use something like Audi's quattro?

Denali is a trim level not a sub brand

… that costs similar to the full-size…

10 Speed is unnecessary on these small engines.

That trucks grill looks like it has braces...just saying

Those Denali running boards are gross.
