I have been using Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless Vlogging Camera Kit with EF-M 15-45mm Lens for my YouTube videos for about two years.
Since I have chosen videography and photography as my profession, a mirrorless DSLR camera was essential for me to learn this job.
The videos of the iPhone 13 that my wife bought it for her looked very high quality.
And I asked myself if I should use iPhone 13 for my YouTube videos instead of the Canon M50 and compared both of them.
Let's see what we can and cannot do with these two machines.

Canon M50 pros: You can better understand the colors and the time of day in the video. But with the iPhone 13, even evening hours can seem like daylight.
iPhone 13 cons: In 4K videos, the processor power of the iPhone comes out even more.
Canon M50 cons: Canon M50 cons: Has crop factor.
Iphone 13 cons: Superior stabilization even in 4K videos. However, when the video is 4K, the M50 stabilization performs even worse.

Canon M50 cons: Much noise. Iphone 13 reduces noise with software, but because it is software, the texture is lost.
In summary, if you don't have a gimbal, it makes more sense to use an Iphone 13 for 4K videos. At least the colors can be improved a little more with professional video programs. I prefer M50 for 1080P videos. I prefer Iphone 13 for macro shots. (Until I buy a macro lens for the M50). I prefer Iphone 13 for slow-motion videos. I definitely don't use iPhone 13 cinematic mode.
Canon M50 hardware pros: The M50 gives you a choice of lenses. You can easily plug in your external microphone. (but you have to spend a little more money.)

Canon M50 hardware cons: Its battery lets you shoot about half an hour of video. (with the screen on). wifi, Bluetooth vs. It may take hours to transfer the videos you have taken to your computer using features such as the phone application.
iPhone 13 hardware pros: You always have 2 lenses and 1 camera ready in your pocket. Very fast data transfer and a powerful battery.

Note that while shooting a video with an iPhone, you may receive phone calls, messages, and notifications.

I've been using the m50 for 8 months now and I think you should use it for your videos. You get better dynamic range and all that, More megapixels, Interchangeable lenses, Good 4K resolution wise despite the crippling limitations. The iPhone is good for some situations but even when using the Pro models It still doesn't beat the look you get on a actual camera. Then you have manual settings on the m50 instead of it being locked behind some app. I think you'll prefer the M50 for a lot more things when you buy more lenses for it, especially the L series lenses.

I Think you should use Canon M50 it more confortables, i never used IPhone for videography, but I know how good it's M50 Canon
