All New 2025/2026 HONDA ACCORD HYBRID FACELIFT

Like the smaller Civic, the Accord midsize sedan is a legacy model for Honda, with roots that extend all the way back to the 1970s. Over the years, it's been available as a hatchback and two-door coupe, but the current 11th-generation model sticks with the tried and true four-door rubric. Longtime rivals include the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima .
Although the midsize sedan class isn't as crowded as it used to be, the Accord remains its leader, albeit slightly less compelling than before. Both available powertrains deliver smooth acceleration, although our test team found the turbo-four's CVT a tad sluggish. Steering feel wasn't great, but the brakes inspired confidence and handling was neutral and predictable. Ride quality is excellent on smaller wheels, but it seemed like there was more wind and road noise in the cabin than most of the Accord's peers.
We dig this Accord's attractive-looking interior, which echoes the design language in the current Civic but isn't a carbon copy. The base touchscreen seems small, though, and some materials on the lower trims—seat fabric, door panels—are rough to the touch. Indeed, the only way to get the premium interior is to go hybrid, but all models come with loads of standard safety technology. The Accord continues to be a smart choice—comfortable, capable, and generally pleasant—but the last one tested better and returned slightly better fuel economy.
