Ty for the strumming up its always a struggle because i ended up adjusting my finger so when i strum up, it does get the job done but when i strum it down it hurts the flesh near the nails’ cuticles

Do I need to have a bigger nail on my index finger for the strumming to be good. I am able to strum down but unable to do the upward strumming
