WOW!!! If you guys can somehow adapt that for tournament coverage and stay back enough to see the whole disc flight in context, it would be killer!  Looking forward to this for sure. It would be awesome to use on holes just like that too.

Even with not being able to follow the discs into trees and such, this would be awesome footage to get at a tourney. Even if it just hovered from high up and moved along with the disc so we could see as much of the flight as possible would be a big step forward to me. I'm guessing you'd have to change batteries every few holes though?

That is a pretty awesome idea! I would make suggestions about stabilization but I am sure it isn't the easiest thing keeping up with a disc!

this is awesome, great skills. one of the big reasons i got a phantom was to record the flight of the discs just like this, but theres always an event at my local park or not enough time and id rather play disc golf. please keep posting stuff like this. also this has to be a racing drone right?

Be interesting to get permission to use this in tournaments. Not sure of the sound and distraction factor of it but I wouldn't imagine it'd be to bad.

i am very interested in this technique as well!! for a disc golf doc--i think the drone has to be further along for it to work better did you try that?
