I recognised the woman in the purple jumper from the thumbnail straight away! She is a very aggressive, determined lady. I was in Vietnam about a month before this video. She grabbed the handlebars of my bike and forced me off the road into her car park. I asked why I had to park in her car park, specifically when there were so many more closer to the Hang Mua viewpoint, and there was not much traffic. I essentially could pick and choose where I wanted to park, so why not park next to the viewpoint? I literally had to get off my bike, turn around, and ride away as if to leave and then turn back to get past her. She was a tough old nut and did try again. It is not a good experience for tourists to be corralled or herded in an aggressive manner like this.

They are not scammers. Just people taking advantage of owning lands close to the tourist attraction. They are still legitimate parking lots. When the official parking lot is full, you will have to park at their lot. It's just how things work in Vietnam, you'll find it every where.

Nooo....you cannot leave Ninh Binh without trying the goat (unless you're vegetarians/vegans). I think Family Restaurant is known for some great goat. Looks like a great time in Ninh Binh for both, though.
